jbs mercantile april gallery updates!

well.  this was a funny little layout to put together.  one of those that gave me fits actually.  the night i was working on it i really didn't think i liked it much at all.  like i actually thought i might have to just start over.  then the next morning i was all about how cute it was.  then the day after that i was feeling iffy again but it was a done deal by then.  two of my scrappy besties have declared it's their favorite out of my most recent batch of layout shares, so i guess i'm back to liking it again.  i am fickle.  ha.

this one was created from the "on the places you'll go" mini-album kit designed by lisa dickinson.  i just checked and there are only 6 of this kit left.  better snag one cuz it's awesome.  i mean i swoon for the patterned paper mix in it and i've been dying for the studio calico wood veneer cameras and hambly camera overlay for the longest.  then there's the hard to get bananafish chips and tags.  hot hot kit i tell ya.

not much to tell you in the technique arena.  this one is fairly straight forward.  i colored the car in with gabriel's sharpie collection and i inked the wood veneer camera with lemon drops.
